What is Major Photography?

Major Photography is a photography group project displaying the joy, rapture, sorrow, or on the whole, the “life” in the street.


This group intends to hand on to you the street life through documentary photographs. Throughout this process, manners of the people, the most significant object of the street, their communication with each other and how people get to create the street life will be documented through the vision of photographers in the group.


The project will firstly include Istanbul for starters and in time it will hopefully move on to other cities.


The group will participate in events such as exhibitions and projections as it progresses.


Issues that may require attention;

-Major Photography is NOT a deviantArt group or a dA community project.
-There will be NO requests for membership; neither will there be affiliations to the group nor any kind of contests.



What is Street Photography?


Street photography is to photograph the street, the most colorful and dynamic element of the city, together with the human factor that creates the street spirit.
